Hello there! Your website's background is sick! I think topographical maps are dope, which your background makes me think of.

Replied on: June 24, 2026 at 12:05:46 AM

Thanks! I also like topographical maps :) I think they add enough interest as a background without being to busy if that makes sense

I was reading your blog, and I agree with what you said about version numbers. The idea of implementing big changes all at once might make sense for big projects where you have to make sure every change doesn't break anything, but for my itty bitty personal website? It's a lot more work for not much benefit...

"A lot more work for not much benefit" sums up what I was trying to say much more succinctly haha. Thanks for reading my blog!

o7 thank you for the inspiration for some stuff, as well as sharing the resources for theme toggling. working on implementing light/dark themes on a couple of my sites, so seeing someone who's got them working and shared the tutorials was a huge lifesaver, so thank you.

Hi, Yatagarasu. I stumbled upon your status.cafe page today and I was wondering if you can tell me how to do styling on that page since I haven't find one thread on the forum yet talking about exactly how to do it (sorry, I'm a little bit lazy too). Thanks!

Replied on: April 29, 2026 at 2:53:11 PM

Hello, it’s pretty simple! On your settings page in the “About” field you can include styling in a <style> tag. Any styling in here is formatted the same as typical CSS. I inspected the page to find the class name for certain elements to override the styling, like for my username. I’ve seen user made status.cafe themes floating around and it might be easier to build off of one of those, maybe. Hope that helps!
